Ancil Hoffman Golf Course
Ancil Hoffman Golf Course was designed and built in 1965 by noted architect William Bell. The course is located along the banks of the American River in the Carmichael area of Sacramento County. The 18-hole, par 72, 6,800 yard course has been rated by Golf Digest as one of the top 75 Public Courses in the United States. The challenging tree-lined layout covers 170 acres and has a course rating of 72.8 from the Championship Tees. The course's location within Ancil Hoffman Park offers players a natural and serene environment to enjoy during their round of golf.
In addition to the golf course, the facilities at Ancil Hoffman include a clubhouse with full food and beverage services, a large fully-stocked Golf Shop, practice range with natural turf tees, practice putting greens, and a practice bunker. Cherry Island Golf Course
Located in Elverta, Cherry Island is one of the County of Sacramento's three championship golf courses. It opened for public play in June of 1990. The Robert Muir Graves designed course challenges golfers of every ability level. Cherry Island is adjacent to two tributaries of Dry Creek and Sierra Creek. The unique layout of the course is part of a natural ecosystem of heritage blue oak woodlands, riparian forest, native grasslands, and vernal pools. The par 72 championship layout was chosen by Golf Digest in 1991 as one of the Top Ten New Public Golf Courses in the United States.

Oakmont Golf Club
The Oakmont Golf Club in Santa Rosa is a 36-hole semi-private golf club nestled in the heart of the Sonoma County wine country. Noted golf course architect Ted Robinson designed both courses at Oakmont. The par 72, 6,300 yard West Course features large, undulating greens and a challenging arrangement of trees, creeks, and ponds. Its rating is 70.8, with a slope of 128. The par 63 East Course offers one of California's best executive layouts, with a rating of 61.2 and a slope of 100. Both Oakmont courses are open to the public.
The Quail Inn Restaurant at Oakmont serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is well known in Sonoma County as one of the most popular banquet facilities for wedding receptions, golf tournaments, and corporate outings.
Additionally, Oakmont is home to two fully-equipped Golf Shops and a double-ended driving range, complete with both synthetic and natural turf tees.
